Spridget frame blockoff plates for front triangles
Are you are tired of vacuuming track debris out of your frame after each season? Maybe you don’t want your freshly restored Spridget to succumb to corrosion from winter salt. Even Moss Motors notes this is a common area of corrosion when debris builds up.
I was tired of seeing the gravel kicked up by sticky tires get stuck in the frame triangles on my mk1 Sprite’s front end, so I designed this kit to block off these gaps in the frame.
The kit includes triangles and gaskets for both sides of your car along with some period-correct fillister head screws with holes for safety wire (kit includes 2 segments of stainless safety wire, enough for one car). You will also notice the two tiny holes in 2 out of 4 triangles to accommodate safety wire. One could also use split washers, but I prefer safety wire.
