Here’s a nice set of SU HS2 carbs on a 12g302 manifold with some nice velocity stacks. The bridges have been smoothed along with the bottom of the pistons. The clearances have been retained so these should still idle well. I fully disassembled these, checked over everything, and ran all the pieces through my ultrasonic cleaner with dish soap. There’s a little marking from corrosion, but the pistons drop nicely and the clearances feel right.
The fuel floats are plastic and leak free, the butterfly shafts are decent, but I’d likely replace before fitting these carbs to your engine. I would’ve changed them, but I don’t have any extras on hand. These come with a new float needle set from Joe Curto, brand new .090” jets from Moss, and new AUD2062 and 2063 float bowl grommets for Spridgets from APT a few years ago.
Basically, this set is nearly ready to go. Doesn’t include metering needles as the ones on here were a bit beat up with a file. Also, I don’t have a heat shield at this time. The little vacuum port for the distributor has been plugged with metal. I figured I’d leave as is, since most racers aren’t running vacuum advance anyhow.
